beautifuldiva 22 Posted May 26, 2012 Hello ladies. I just got sleeved a little over a week ago on may 17th. Im a big chested girl at 40d. I havent been able to put on a bra because its really uncomfortable against my incision. Any suggestions??
mmorral 19 Posted May 26, 2012 I am a 40 D as well and I went without a bra for two weeks while I was at home. Once the smaller incisions closed and somewhat healed; it was a lot easier
CaliKat 153 Posted May 26, 2012 hmmm- I never had this issue and ive got large "girls" too. Try wearing a sports bra and/or tanks with built in support. My best guess is that you have underwires rubbing- and based upon where my incisions were placed, that means your underwires are too low and you need a new bra (or to snug up the shoulder straps). But that is based upon my incisions- yours may be higher. Also- good news on the horizion- as my belly shrunk- my breasts no longer rest against it! So even if your incisions are higher and none of the above solutions work for you.... its just a short-term problem for you. Happy healing and congrats on the sleeve! 1 Star1221 reacted to this
Star1221 270 Posted May 26, 2012 Sports bra is what I used to. I am 40DD.. Well used to be lol. It adds just enough support without the pinching. I can stand when they are free... lol
alliegb3 112 Posted May 27, 2012 I don't like the girls bopping around either, but you just gotta be all natural (think of this as your way of sticking it to the man) its just a short time, don't do anything that causes uncomfort or rubs the incisions
kayte819 95 Posted May 28, 2012 I got a couple tank tops w/ built in bra...they were like $9 @ Walmart. I'm very big chested (still....even after 74# loss) & wear a 42H & they work for me. I think they only go to 2x but I'get been wearing them since about 260 w/o issue other than a little side spillage. Added bonus....of they're a little tight in the tummy it's sort of like a compression garment

So my incision is from right under my chest area to my belly button. Because i am so big chested bras without underwire do nothing for the girls. Im gonna wait it out. *sighs*
katyb 36 Posted May 29, 2012 I'm a 38G, so they're VERY substantial, and I used a sports bra for the first week or so.
