Once You Lose Your Butt Is It Gone Forever!?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! Im new here. I was just recently sleeved last week on may 17th and havent had my first post op visit yet, but my booty is already gone! With toning exercises is there any way to get it back, or is it gone forever!? *Words of encouragement needed*

Lunges, and doing tapes like Buns of steel will build muscle in your booty and help you form a nice C.

When I'm thin I'm flat as a pancake on top, but the more weight I lose and the more lunges, and squats I do the bigger my butt gets. Though my hips shrink and my butt shrinks in some ways, it lifts up and becomes a perfect little C. Check out home DVD's with Buns of Steel Tammy Lee Webb. The smaller I get the harder my butt gets and the more lift it gets so it actually starts looking bigger than when I'm really heavy.

There are some people that don't have a butt, if you had a butt, you will get it back, just more toned, firmer and less flabby :)

Well it depends on one's age, how long they've been fat, how much fat they need to lose and your body muscle to fat ratio. There is hope however, with exercises to build up your Buns. As all the fat goes away the only thing left is mucscle and skin so if the skin shrinks well to the muscle then there shouldn't be an issue. You'll still have a butt , it just won't be fat and flabby instead it will be firm and toned once you do the hard work and exercises to tone it up.

Stairsteppers, lunges and elliptical. If you dont have a gym membership google "mountainclimbers" or "squats" for at-home workout tips.

I did have a nice one.... mine has gotten flatter- but im kicking the workouts up a notch and noticing a difference.

My daughter never had a backside. She used Brazilian Beach Buns; she looks good and does not have "drop crotch" in her pants :)

Coming from a mans prospective, and yes, to quote Sir-Mix-Alot, I like big butts!

Really it's more about shape than it is about size.

Keep on the right track your nice round (somewhat smaller) booty will be even more attractive than the one you remember. :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
