alliegb3 112 Posted May 26, 2012 Take a pack of chicken breast (like four) frozen or thawed. Put them in a crock pot. Pour a regular size bottle of Italian dressing (fat free) over it. Cook on low for 5 hours. Tada! 2 mrsnate and BunnyFoodRocks reacted to this

Lizzygirl079 22 Posted May 26, 2012 Ive never tried the italian, sounds great. You can also use any type of marinade. My favorite is baja chipotle.
alliegb3 112 Posted May 26, 2012 Yes a crock pot is a #1 necessity. It makes meat juicier. And that's something we all definitely need to curb the want to drink with meals an just make stuff go down easier. And if you are busy like me- you just throw it in and forget it! Crock pots were designed so you don't have to lift the li and stir or anything. Actually it takes away from it if u keep taking the lid off!
ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted May 26, 2012 Pour a regular size bottle of Italian dressing hi allegbe i agree that using the crockpot makes things the very easiest. i do that recipe , the italian dressing (whidh i don't think i would like) i pour a can of light no fat mushroom Soup. over the chicken ummm ummm. i guess you could pour anything, Soup or whatever over the chicken.< /span> the truth is - i'm afraid to try new recipes. afraid i wouldn't like the italian dressing - maybe i'll be brave and try it though when i'm all grown up - btw i'm 58 now kathy
alliegb3 112 Posted May 26, 2012 Cream of mushroom is great with roast. Makes a gravy that's awesome. But not my thing with chicken.< /p>
Lea Anne 17 Posted May 30, 2012 Ive done the same thing with a jar of salsa. The chicken gets so moist and flavorful. Ive even shredded the chicken breasts and made tacos or burritos.Romaine lettuce worked as a sub for real taco shells. Or you could just make a taco salad.< /p> 1 LoriRay reacted to this

MeMeMEEE 206 Posted May 30, 2012 No one in my house will eat chicken (husband not at all, daughter not in the crockpot) so I have one of those small dip crockpots and it fits one breast perfect!
twoboysandagirl 109 Posted May 30, 2012 Oh my, my family would be in for trouble...we eat chicken like 5 nights a week. Glad you found a way to make it work for you. 1 Finding MeMe reacted to this
