Gene1970 179 Posted May 25, 2012 My Dr said that I could head to the gym as soon as I felt like it and to start with things like the treadmill, stair climber, eliptical, etc. He told me to judge what I can do just like a child would do.... meaning if it hurts, then don't do it. waistnaway 32 Posted May 25, 2012 I was cleared to do anything I could tolerate when discharged from the hospital. My doctor encouraged me to "get with it". And... I did. No problems what so ever. 1 aznurse4u reacted to this

MyGastricSleeveLife 180 Posted May 26, 2012 Mine said I could get in the pool at 2-3 weeks as long as my incisions were healed. Then, I could start doing weights & such at the gym at 4-6 weeks depending on how I feel. I'll be at 2 weeks post-op on Monday & am planning on going to the gym to walk, but not do other things yet.
