This is so crazy...I have never been this thin. I am not feeling like a woman. My boobs are smaller, I though I had hips, but I don't and my butt is gone. I feel like before at least I had curves. I know I am healthier and never wanted to be as fat as I was, but this thin is something I just do not know how to take in. I can grab my pelvis bone...I see it right through my skin. My shoulder blades are also easy to see.

How much do you weigh now? Are you still in the "normal" range? Are you on the low side? Would it hurt to add 10 or 15 lbs? I agree with PEvette though, you should see someone about this. It can't hurt.

The smallest I ever was was a 14. I got up to a 20. I am an 8/10 depending on the clothes. I am 5'11". I am 178 on my scale, but my doctor's is 5 pounds less. And I bet 10 pounds is just skin. I probably will have to see someone. I am trying now to up my intake, but it is hard and I feel like I am over eating. So if I go by my doctor's scale I have really lost 118 pounds. I am in month 11. I could keep losing. 140 is still within normal range so you can see I am on the high side, but I feel so thin. I am at a normal BMI now. I just never saw my bones before. Do all really thin people see their pelvic bone?

Many do, it depends on the length of your torso and the width of your hips. Take a look at images of women in bikinis on the net. You will see how different thin figures can be.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
