Not a problem at all!

I'm glad you got some sleep. I haven't slept well in days either. Not good for either of us :(

It seems everyone's preop diet is slightly different. Mine consists of 6 glucerna (I begged to use Atkins instead), 2 no fat or low fat yogurts with sugar substitute, 2 8oz servings of 100%juice, and all of the sf no calorie drinks i want up to the day before surgery. The day before surgery is nothing but clears. I am so allowed sf Jello during my preop.

Really,,, I have Dr. Ponce too my is on june 23 and he has me on a 3 day diet... all yogurt i want any flavor and Water and fasting for 10hrs before

I don't have the Dr. Ponce that is in Mexico. I have a local Dr. Ponce (he operates in TN and GA), and he does 14 days of the diet that I described.

I'm near downtown FW. Been here about two years.

I work in Downtown and live in Ft Worth. I'm using a Dr from Decatur for my surgery on Tuesday.

As of this morning I've lost 16.2 lbs since surgery on Monday. My head hunger is still driving me slightly batty, but I know there's a light at the end of the tunnel so I just try and focus on that!!

Prayers and well wishes to the newly sleeved and those surgeries coming up this week!!! :P

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
