mommyinneed 25 Posted May 23, 2012 Started running fever sunday night. By Monday it was too high to ignore. The dr's found an infection just under main incicsion. My potassium is low and I'm a little dehydrated. I drank and drank so I'm not sure how that happened. Dr. Ponce is a great surgeon and this can happen to anyone. I had antibiotic shots starting right before my surgery until I left hospital.

mommyinneed 25 Posted May 23, 2012 I work for Gastroenerology and he was consulted for me while in hosp. He just said he reviewed all ct's and Dr Ponce did excellent work. He wants more info to pass along to his patients!!! I have a very normal infection. My step dad had 3 back surgeries and all eneded up abscessed. This is just a minor delay and I will be home and healthy soon!
