I am done mooing! 12 Posted May 23, 2012 Because of my diabetes I am always SOOOO thirsty! I currently drink around 6 liters of Water a day. What is going to happen when I have the surgery. Will I still have this thirst?
Sassygirl06 962 Posted May 23, 2012 having the thrist is a blessing...you need to drink a lot of Water to be able to flush out that fat. I am always thristy. It is hard to quinch it at first during the begining cause you cant gulp...you can only drink a little at a time, but it gets better with time. good luck! Ssilian 67 Posted May 23, 2012 I've heard of so many people's diabetes symptoms subsiding shortly after surgery as they lose weight. And also ceasing to take their medicine after surgery. Possibly this will happen to you? I guess it depends on which type of diabetes it is -- type II?
I am done mooing! 12 Posted May 23, 2012 Yes. I went on the watch list at 5 years old and was put on medication when I was 8 or 9. I have been fighting this for over 20 years now.
