jaymzee 79 Posted May 22, 2012 I'm one week out and have absolutely no energy. Is this normal?

Pennie 66 Posted May 22, 2012 Definitely normal. Your are recovering from major surgery PLUS you aren't eating much of anything. Those two put together = mega fatigue! Just rest as much as you can - keep sipping and walking too - and know that things get much better!!
jaymzee 79 Posted May 22, 2012 That's the thing, specially yesterday and today I've been naping on and off all day and its not getting better.

MinaT 669 Posted May 22, 2012 Are you allowed to take Vitamins yet, like the optisource chewable ones and sublingual Vitamin B-12? You are still recovering from surgery, it takes a while to get your energy back, hopefully every day is better than the next one.
hope2Bfitand40 37 Posted May 22, 2012 Yes, I took a nap everyday at lunch in my car for 3 weeks. I don't think I got my energy back until I was about 5-6 weeks post op. I feel really great now at 10-11 weeks post op. My advice is to get the rest you need. 1 MinaT reacted to this

~Prissy Mz~ 13 Posted May 22, 2012 I'm glad to hear that I am not the only 1. 15 days post op as of today and I still get pretty tired. I'm borderline frustrated because I'm not able to really eat anything, and now I seem to keep a low grade headache... I hope that things do you get much better, on the upside of things I've already lost about 20 pounds so I guess at the end of the day it's a pretty fair trade off... ~Prissy Mz~ 13 Posted May 22, 2012 Sip sip sip those fluids!! Dehydration can make u super tired...don't get dehydrated!! Noe that I think about it maybe this headache IS from not drinking enuff liquids. 64oz is a lot feel like I'd be sipping more than I eat. I hope I don't have to sip sip sip 4 the rest of my life. Not saying I'd gulp away but man this spping get annoying some times lol
