Can Someone Help Me?

I am 12 Days post-op. Just starting on "smushy" foods. After the first two bites i feel a " girggle" in my throat. Is this normal? eating to much to fast? I am so trying to do this right. This group is such a inspiration!

Oh yes, the infamous gurgle...I still have it but not as bad as it initially was. It is just your new sleevie getting used to foods, it is completely normal. Congrats on your decision to have the surgery and best of luck on your journey.

I do it. I always have a vision of the food going in and having to wait just a second to displace the air so it can go on down. Thus that little "uurrpp" sound.
