cookies 56 Posted May 22, 2012 I'd thin it with skim milk or fat-free sour cream if you can handle dairy. You could also use chicken broth. Another option is to buy the "instant" mashed potatoes and then just use extra Water.
TheNewSusie 471 Posted May 22, 2012 I use low sodium chicken broth and infuse it with basil then blend with a touch of EVOO. Yum! Make sure u take out the basil after infusing the broth
Shilo30 16 Posted May 22, 2012 Thank you thank you!!!!! I took 1 red potato and mashed it up with broth, fat free milk and a little S&P... Soooo hit the spot and I feel a little less deprived. :-)
Katie713 423 Posted May 28, 2012 Try the potatoes with a little chicken gravy, very low in calories. Then later add canned chicken its so soft when you are on mushies.
SleeveDreamer 383 Posted May 28, 2012 I have never tried this, but alot of people on here swear by mashed steamed cauliflower with chicken broth and insist they taste just like mashed potatoes.
