I want to zip line. I've wanted to do it for years but was too fat.

This made me giggle when I seen this post. I went zip lining back in October in Mexico. I got stuck in the middle of the zip line I had no arm or stomach muscles to pull myself back I was crying and screaming "I'm gonna die." lol I laughed about ur now, but it was really scary when your heavy and have no control. Lucky the people working there helped me. My boyfriend felt horrible because they had to grab him before they could get to me. He said it was a horrible feeling sitting there watching me cry and there was nothing he could do for me. Needless to say I probably will never do zip lining again. Apparently the zip lining place we went to was featured on Fear Factor and I can tell you I see why. We were going like 60 mph on the one I got stuck on all because I put the brakes on too early because of fear. It's a funny story but I can actually say I did it. :)

To throw a baseball or football with my son and play all day.

To see my daughters and son graduate from school.

The seat thing I really get and numerous times have had to stand because they were to narrow.

when I was thinner my son and I would go to theme parks and they'd harness us and lift us way up to drop us and it feels like you're flying. Those are some of my best memories and I'd love to be able to do that again.

To get on an airplane and not worry about where my seat was and not having to ask for the seatbelt extender ?!!!!! And being able to use my traytable because my stomach won't be on the way!!!!!!

I can't wait until I can walk in a place (any place!) that has public seating (doctor's office, restaurant, movie theater, concert arena ... you get the idea) and not have the thought run through my head "I hope they have a seat that I can fit into and not look ridiculous".

Tibbie, this is such a good one. I love to fish! Now that I know that you can buy PINK waders, I guess I'll be getting some (when I get to goal). And my hubby has wanted to take me to Colorado ever since we have been married. I just might agree to go when I don't think I will smother to death trying to climb up the side of a mountain.

OMG - you would LOVE where we go!!!!!!! So glad there is another fishing person on here! :P We LOVE to trout fish - it's what I grew up doing. But living in Texas - there are no trout <_< So thus the Colorado trips. You can get pink waders AND a pink fishing vest! AMAZING! So fashion forward! LOL I also have a pink fly rod - yeah - I just HAVE to take it to the extreme!

I want to ride a roller coaster without having to use the fat seats!

This is my plan by next summer. My son wants to go to the amusement park this summer. It would be nice not to disappoint a 6 yr old.

Neon green and Pink??? So you don't want to actually CATCH fish, but scare them away instead?? hahahahaha  my husband won't let me stand near him if I'm not wearing nature colors while he's fishing. ;)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
