mzcoug01 5 Posted May 21, 2012 Well it is the day before surgery and I am quite nervous. My parents are taking me shopping to try to get my mind off of surgery. I am nervous any time I have had surgery due to dealing with brittle asthma and now add the sleep apnea to it. I will be staying overnight because of this and really don't like hospitals since I have spent some time in them. I am excited to lose the weight so I am going through this. I hope everyone is doing well. -Rebecca 1 sdb1147 reacted to this

sdb1147 54 Posted May 21, 2012 Rebecca, to be nervous is a natural reaction. Your parents are great for taking you shopping to get your mind off the surgery. They sound like a great support team. Think positive in knowing you're doing what's right for YOU! You'll be in my prayers. Good luck & please keep us up to date with your progress. And what you're doing is just that: progress. MinaT 669 Posted May 21, 2012 Good Luck to you and it's natural to be nervous but remember to be optimistic and think of this as something positive. Positivity goes a long way to recovery. Best wishes and will keep you in my prayers.
