Well. I was planning on having the lap band up until yesterday. I had a huge break down an anxiety attack thinking I was making the wrong decision. Considering my doctor suggested the sleeve from the beginning I called him on Saturday an he talked to me about it and told me not to worry he WILL Perform the sleeve on my and it WILL be Wednesday. I am happy again. I can't hardly wait. I've been on a strict cleat liquid diet since the 14th and I'm going crazy still. I am very proud that I made it though with out cheating (besides the few oyster crackers to keep me from passing out) when I didn't have enough fluids. They were still oyster crackers now even a full saltine cracker so no biggie. Anyways I am ready for some positive results and happiness to shed over my life. Congrats on being so close! As someone who is revising from the band to the sleeve, I think you are making the right decision. I am sure there are people who experience success with the lapband, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Yea. I've heard a lot of bad about lap band as well as failure and not that great of results. I'm a cash pay so if I am paying this kind of money I want results. I have the self motivation and discipline to get them but don't see myself getting them from the band.
