Hello

I Am Planning On Being Banded. I Have Attended A Seminar Conducted By The Surgeon And Members Of His Weight Loss Team. My First Consulation Is September 21. I Was Told That I Could Have My Band On In About 12 Weeks. I Was Wondering If I Need To Start Taking Any Specific Vitamins In Prep For The Band.my Present Weight Is 229. My Goal Is 140!!!!

I Will Be Having The Procedure In Pensacola Florida.

You will need to have chewable vitamins for after the band. Couldn't hurt to start early. Your doctor will tell you everything you need to do. Good Luck to you.

I started thinking about eating smaller. I bought WLS for dummies. The best advice I took from the book was that some Weight Loss Surgery (WLS) people start eating like every meal they have is their last. I actually went from 258 lbs to 247 lbs in the 3 month period before my wonderful surgery.
