Sweetpea1 8 Posted May 20, 2012 Im so excited! I wasnt suppose to weigh in until tomorrow but I just couldnt wait. I hadnt done any exercise last week and felt that I have been eatin a bit more than usual, so I just couldnt resist getting on the scale this morning to see if id at least lost 1 lb. I couldnt believe what the scale said,,, 5lbs! I got on the scale about 6 times to be sure it was correct! lol, I havent been eatin bad things, just more food in general. Ive had fish and egg whites for Breakfast, fish or chicken breast for lunch and dinner, with fruits in between meals. I didnt drink much Protein Drink this week but I made sure I was having Protein with every meal. I tryin to get all my Water in but sometimes it doesnt work. I hope im getting too much protein, Does anyone know how much is too much?

MyGastricSleeveLife 180 Posted May 21, 2012 My surgeon says to aim for 70-100 grams of Protein per day, but some doctors are different. I'm not sure how much would be too much protein though.
minniekitty 44 Posted May 21, 2012 How exciting You must be very happy with your rapid weight loss! Good job. My doctor said 600-800 calories per day was optimal while in the losing stage. I went up to 900-1100 as I got closer to goal though. As for Protein, 60-80g per day should be your goal. Best of luck to you.
