enajee 3 Posted May 19, 2012 Hey All, I just got sleeved on 5/15 and now I am headed to a music fest today. This is the first day I feel pretty OK in the morning but I know it will be a lot of walking and sun should be in the 80's today. I grabbed a bottle of Gatorade and a bottle of Water a carton of beef broth since I'm still on stage 2 and heading out. Anyone else tried anything this vigorous after surgery? I also have another one planned in two weeks for 3 days.
NJsharon 119 Posted May 19, 2012 Just lots of drinks! You should be fine. The gatorade will be good, maybe even another gatorade in case. But have fun!!!
boots321 42 Posted May 19, 2012 YOU GO ENAJEE!!!!! Let us know how you did and if it wipes you out. I bet it will do you really good to get out like that!!!!
massindex 346 Posted May 19, 2012 You are going to be really tired. Make sure you have some place to sit and rest, maybe bring a pillow to rest against your surgery. Don't worry if you need to stop after short distances - you had surgery. Just be prepared that you might have to leave. It's pretty early to go out for longer engagements. Oh, and have lots of Water on hand, like everyone else says.
enajee 3 Posted May 19, 2012 Thanks all I grabbed some blankets a pillow and my lawn chair. I think for fluids I'll be good cant seem to cross 32oz so it may be overkill to bring what I have already. Hopefully they will let me bring it in ......I will update this evening with the results
