Females Who Are Actively Losing - What Is Your Calorie & Protein Intake?

Recommended Posts

I'm bad also because I don't track calories eventhough I know that I need to. Maybe when I reach goal weight I will start tracking to determine my optimum level to maintain. Until then I will eat until I am uncomfortable which is a few bites and exercise hard for 60-90 minutes per day and drink what I want.

I am one month post op,Ive lost 18 pounds since my surgery on April 24th. That's all after being sleeved. I take in 500-550 calories a day, I keep it extremely low carb, low fat, try for my minimum of 60g of Protein. I drink about 48-64 oz of Water a day and bust a** doing high impact aerobics 4 times a week and walking the other 3 days week. So I have lost a total of 38 pounds since my pre op diet. It doesn't hurt that Im a very active nurse ( much more active now, it's so much easier) I still have about 49 more pounds to reach my goal of 145.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
