I am flummoxed. When I moved to solid food, spicy stuff didn't bother me at all. Now, five months out, chili and curry make me horribly nauseous. It would have been better if I could have vomited, but I can't seem to. It's not a case of eating too much, either, and it isn't reflux. Any ideas?

Spicy hasn't bothered me at all but anythimg greasy makes me very nauseous. It was so bad that I don't even bother with anything greasy anymore.

I'm with you! Dahl one night, my own homemade chili a few days later. I actually had chest pain and mucous filling my throat and mouth. I hope someone chimes in with a preventative strike we can try, since i'm too dopey to just give up on the spice!

You may just have a spice or two you can't stomach anymore - :(

Nutmeg is bad for me, for instance.

Well, I figured it out. Post-op, I was on 40 mg. of Famotadine (Pepcid) a day. Now, I'm off of it, and Junior is a bit more tetchy when it comes to cayenne pepper. Now I know.
