thebionicbroad 127 Posted May 18, 2012 I am flummoxed. When I moved to solid food, spicy stuff didn't bother me at all. Now, five months out, chili and curry make me horribly nauseous. It would have been better if I could have vomited, but I can't seem to. It's not a case of eating too much, either, and it isn't reflux. Any ideas?
jb14075 10 Posted May 18, 2012 Spicy hasn't bothered me at all but anythimg greasy makes me very nauseous. It was so bad that I don't even bother with anything greasy anymore.

Dahl one night, my own homemade chili a few days later. I actually had chest pain and mucous filling my throat and mouth. I hope someone chimes in with a preventative strike we can try, since i'm too dopey to just give up on the spice!
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted May 18, 2012 You may just have a spice or two you can't stomach anymore - Nutmeg is bad for me, for instance.
thebionicbroad 127 Posted May 19, 2012 Well, I figured it out. Post-op, I was on 40 mg. of Famotadine (Pepcid) a day. Now, I'm off of it, and Junior is a bit more tetchy when it comes to cayenne pepper. Now I know.
