Yes, it took a long time for pureed, and then anout as long to mushy, and I am still fighting solids. Everyone is different. Only do what your tummy can.

There is a new normal coming your way, but the road doesn't have a fully customized map... you kind of have to make your way.

I had soooo many Proteins and foods in the house because from hour to hour I didn' t know what I could enjoy or what made me feel gross.

The hardest was the time between surgery and actually being allowed to chew food again. I still can't look at greek yogurt with Protein powder.

I had the same problem, so I started out with chili and chewed real well. Same with baked Beans, spaghetti, corned beef hash, etc. I figured I could mush it up in my mouth as well as a blender. I got away with it, but the decision to do as I did is up to you. Take it verrrrrrry slow...

Your sleeve may not be ready for pureed food. Drop back a level and try again tomorrow. Everyone heals at a different rate, but you will heal and be able to eat purees and solid foods soon! :)

Pureed/thick foods still don't go down very easily. I have yet to get sick, but things "sit heavy". I can do solids, yet still can't really handle thick things.

Oddly enough I was kind of the same when I had the lapband. "Problem" foods like chicken and bread were fine for me. It was the slimy/thick things like Peanut Butter and marinated mushrooms that would get me every time.
