Lol well put.

It varies from how far along you are, to what gauge they did your sleeve in, what you eat, and – no really – the length of your stomach! I found out that the length of a stomach varies considerably…and if you have a 4 in long sleeve you will hold less than a 7 in long sleeve.

For me solids about 2 oz. thick meat based gruel about 3 oz…liquids vary too but I can get in at least 8-12 oz in an hour, if I need to.

Ok. I'm not sure of the size of my stomach. I had my sirgery 4-24 and I can easily eat three ounces of sliced deli turkey and still be hungry.

It's hard to tell the "full" feeling yet since we are still healing and the stomach is still swollen. Eat slowly and do whatever your nutritionist /surgeon tells you to do. Give it some time. :)

Like does this sound right?

For Breakfast at 10 I had 3 oz of yogurt.

At 11:30 I had 3 oz of sliced turkey breast

At 1 I had a string cheese

At 1:30 I had 3 oz of fruit

And I've been drinking Water all day.

I feel

Hungry. Not crazy hungry but hungry enough to eat some more fruit.

How do u know how long ur sleeve is it going to be?

You really don't know. If they did an endoscopy, they could tell you, but my surgeon did not do one. And it really won't change their procedure, anyway. You will still have restriction, especially if you follow the rules. The difference between eating 3 oz of food and 5 oz of food is really not something to lose any sleep over.

With most things I'm stuffed around 2oz. The only thing I can really eat more of is sashimi, and with it I'm full between 3 - 4 oz, depending on how slowly I eat. My Snacks probably run about 1 oz (I'd have to check fitnesspal to be sure). I usually have at least one snack, sometimes two. I drink 1 or 2 8oz servings of low sugar apple juice with my Fiber supplement dissolved into it. If I don't get enough food Protein in, I will add in a Protein Drink as needed. Other than that, I try to always have Water or iced tea with me.

How much you can eat will depend on food density, your sleeve, how quickly or slowly you eat, and a lot of other factors.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
