Musharooni 62 Posted May 17, 2012 What is your personal schedule for recording measurements? I am weighing weekly, but am unsure as to what intervals to record my measurements.
Dooter 1,457 Posted May 17, 2012 I try to measure once a month. Otherwise, if the scale is not moving, I'll measure for encouragement, because I know there will be movement there!
MyGastricSleeveLife 180 Posted May 17, 2012 I'm doing mine once a week, but I know a lot of people do them once a month. Just do what you're comfortable with.
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted May 17, 2012 About one a week, never more for weight, and I never took measurments...I have a tshirt thing I am using, lol.

kimmy*custis 276 Posted May 17, 2012 I never started the measurements and I am dissapointed that I didnt. I know I have lost so many inches and I cant say how many...grrr! I went from a size 20 pant to a....drum roll please...a size 12!!! Yes, I went shopping last night and fit into a size 12 jean....sooo excited. Also from a 2-3x shirts to a regular size large...woo hoo! I would suggest once a month for the measurements. Best of luck!
tjmom 200 Posted May 17, 2012 Kimmy ..... Excellent ! love these type of encouraging posts.... I am going to measure on my sleeved date... Once a month.
spartymsu 11 Posted May 17, 2012 Weekly for a while and once I saw that the VSG was going to work I went with watching how I fit in my clothes. I would then weigh every month. There just was too much up and down and no progress days that would be a downer when I was weighing too often. You will need all of the positive reinforcement you can get and nothing beats watching your sizes shrink in your clothes! Good Luck!
katyb 36 Posted May 17, 2012 Honestly, just whenever I think about it.
Musharooni 62 Posted May 17, 2012 I experienced a stall on the scale between weeks 2 & 3 but was seeing a difference in my clothes. I knew sooner or later it would happen & I needed to find something to keep me on the positive track. That's when I took my measurements & really wish I would have done it after my first visit with the surgeon because I know I've had some significant changes since I started this journey. I think I'm going to go with my monthly sleeveversary, too.
hadouni 301 Posted May 17, 2012 I weigh when I think about it or when I'm worried! I never did measure my waist or anything and I do sometimes regret that. I'd like to know how many inches have come off along with the 63lbs!
UK Cathy 977 Posted May 17, 2012 As part of my contract with surgeon I have to send in weight and measurements each month (using them as part of research) for at least 2 years. I am also taking a picture each month. Only 2 sets so far pre-op and 1 month post (I'm 6 weeks out)
LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted May 17, 2012 I actually measure my inches every week. I get excited even if I lose a quarter inch! LOL I have a spreadsheet I log all my info in as well. All recorded and forumulated to keep tabs on all lost/gained/totals. It's my Sunday morning ritual. That along with recording my photos, weight and body fat. 1 Musharooni reacted to this
Calicolea 38 Posted May 17, 2012 I am doing mine once a week. I started my pre-op diet on a Tuesday and took my measurements then and just decided I would continue to take them every Tuesday. 1 Musharooni reacted to this
