Indymom 132 Posted May 20, 2012 Hormel has a natural choice lunchmeat now, it's a little pricier than regular but it doesn't have any nitrates, nitrites, etc.
HalfTheWoman 107 Posted May 21, 2012 I purchased the Bento boxes recommended on Eggface which I use for work and those are awesome. I have my whole days worth of food in there--everything from Eggbeaters to refried Beans, string cheese, shredded cheeses, yogurts, etc, etc--and they are a great tool for providing a visual of my daily Protein requirments. Can you please tell me more about the Bento box? I am not really sure what that is or what you do with it. I am up for any good suggestions. If you want to just provide the link to Eggface's message that would be great too!

SleeveDreamer 383 Posted May 21, 2012 My doctor allowed me thinly sliced turkey deli meat at the soft stage. JUST CHEW VERY WELL! My fave lunch even now at 5 months is turkey meat, 1/2 slice muenster cheese and bread n butter stacker pickle slice rolled up with a little mustard. Somtimes I put it on Wasa crackers and broil just until the cheese melts (do the same with tuna).. I guess after the sleeve, you really get creative!
SleeveDreamer 383 Posted May 21, 2012 I forgot to mention that on the soft food stage, I started buying the pouches of StarKist Sandwich Ready albacore tuna. It is mixed with a little mayo and very tiny diced celery. It is so good. The puch is only 3 oz. You don't need to refrigerate it until it is open, but by that time you have already eaten it all! LOL! 1 Time4achangeMD reacted to this
