worried...

i am worried about an order i placed from the web.

I ordered samples from bariatriceating.com.

My mother gave me her credit card # and i placed the order over

2 weeks ago.I've sent two e-mails to the web address listed there and have had no response.I've never ordered online before and am a bit nervous(paranoid??!!)

If it was my visa # it wouldn't be so bad but my Mom's, geez!

Anyone ever order from there?Do you think i've made a mistake?

My mom is away so i can't ask her to check her visa.

When you placed your order, did the company give you a confirmation number? Do you know how it was being shipped to you? If by UPS, the company usually gives you a UPS tracking number. You can go to the UPS website, enter that tracking number, and find out where your package is. If you have a confirmation number, the company should be able to tell you what's going on -- if there was a back order, delay in shipping, etc. Good Luck!

Did you try calling the toll free number from their site

1-888-777-4202 ask to speak to Susan Maria Leach she is the owner of the company. I have ordered from all over the internet and never had a problem yet, so maybe its just a matter of callingto confirm they got your order, that is what I have doen in the past. If they did not send you a confirmation number maybe it did not go through.

Yes,i tried to call but since i am in Ottawa Canada the call won't

go thrue.

She did just respond to say her spam filter might have filtered my e-mails and to ask away regarding my questions.I responded but she hasn't answered.

I order from the internet all the time. Did they charge the VISA yet? I ordered something before Chrismas that came 5 months later. I figured they lost my order because I never saw the charge, but five months later my card was charged and the package arrived. When I called, they told me they were overwhelmed with orders and had to make more of the product.

I forgot to mention that when you are ordering on-line, make sure you see a little padlock on the bottom of the screen in your taskbar. The padlock represents a secure website. If there's no padlock, don't order from the site.
