Im having my VSG July 7th and wanted to know how everyone got mentally prepared for some inspiration. My sister today told me something's that really got to me and upset me and I faced reality and told myself that today I'm making a change. I'm going to stop making excuses and give myself a head start mentally and physically and I feel better already. I stopped the diet soda but I want to be prepared in my head and I'm stressing. I feel somewhat prepared but I need advice please!! Thanks guys!

a week before my surgery (during my liquid phase) I went thru all my entire kitchen and got rid of everything that was high in fats, carbs & sugar. I also bought new dishes (tasting dishes) with very small spoons & forks. I eat every night with cloth napkins and wine glasses. Oh and I cant live without my kitchen ninja. There may not be a lot on my plate for dinner but damn it..... I am gonna have it at least presented in front of me beautifully.
