shrinkinmama 14 Posted May 15, 2012 Hey all, I just started week 4 and I am so through with purees. If i have to eat something like that again I hope im 90 years old. With that being said I am looking for ideas of soft stuff to eat that will be easy on the sleeve. Any help is greatly appreciated.
StrangelyNormal 182 Posted May 16, 2012 I'm not there yet but a friend of mine says she loved her week 4 and the first thing she had was a softly scrambled egg. Lol she said "that was the best scrambled egg I've ever eaten"
canne320 7 Posted May 18, 2012 I am in week 3 soft foods. I asked the dr. If I could eat chicken cut up very fine? He said yes but be very careful to chew well, you don't want anything getting stuck in your sleeve. So that's what I'm doing-- I had buffalo chicken, chicken salad, cheese chewed well. Black Beans with finely chopped chicken and salsa and cheese on it. I need a lot of flavor they all worked well. I keep forgetting not to drink with my food and that gives me trouble. But otherwise it's all good. I had tuna salad, pulsed in a food chopper with onion and little lite mayo. Awesome. Doc said it's ok. Good luck use your imagination! Just make sure you take small bites and chew well and eat slowly.
