Luckily it's nothing too serious, but I'm dehydrated and I have a UTI. I starting running a fever last night which of course had me worried, so I'm relieved it's a UTI. It amazes me how much better I feel with the IV fluids too. Thank heaven for modern medicine!

Dehydration can make you feel like you're suffering from something absolutely horrible! Thank goodness they got you on fluids - you'll be feeling better soon, I hope. UTI's suck SO MUCH. Take care!

Thanks so much for checking on me. I feel a little better today but because I'm working so hard to drink so much, my calorie intake has been super low. I don't know how to balance it!

How does a doctor/ER know that you are dehydrated and need fluids? What other signs/symptoms indicate dehydration other than dark urin and not needing to use the restroom?
