DebraLea 16 Posted May 14, 2012 I was initally denied as well, it's part of the game depending on your insurance. When the doctor sent an appeal letter less than thirty days later I was approved. Kat Crowder 34 Posted May 14, 2012 My denial at BCBS-IL was reversed after submitting additional documentation an having the surgeon talk to the insurance company, without even submitting an appeal.
