Amany194 9 Posted May 14, 2012 Am due for surgery after 7 hours it is 3:20 am here n Australia. Couldn't get any sleep, very worried stressed, had a big fight with my husband, I am staying alone n the hotel and will go to the op by myself tomorrow. Left our daughter with him as well for her school. Missing her so much. I was expecting that she will b with me and will first face I see when I open my eyes. I didn't expect to be that Lonly in this big day. I am sorry for my depressive talking, but I am really very down and this place is only one I can find ppl to share. Plz pray for me that I can go throw this tough time and the op go well. I want to see my daughter again. 1 sdb1147 reacted to this
sdb1147 54 Posted May 14, 2012 Call your husband, kiss & make up. Ask him to bring your daughter to the hospital so you can see her prior to surgery. Your mental stability is important so you have a positive attitude throughout. You're in my prayers. Good luck & God speed. 1 ToniRenae reacted to this
Webchickadee 716 Posted May 14, 2012 Be strong! My surgery is in a couple of hours too, and I am also alone at the hotel here in ! San Diego.< /p> I'm sure your hubby only fought with you because he's nervous and worried. He'll be at your bedside, I'm sure. You can do this! Be selfish and do this for YOU (rather than doing everything for your family, the way most of us women live our lives). If your health and happiness are good, everyone benefits! Chin up, sleeve-sister! 1 sdb1147 reacted to this
kimmy*custis 276 Posted May 14, 2012 Yes, call him and make up , it isnt worth your stress. You need your family there with you. Best of luck. 2 sdb1147 and ToniRenae reacted to this

I am from Sydney Australia ...I can relate to feeling isolated .. Men are silly ( lack sensitivity ) I had huge fight with my husband ( left bubby with him) got too much ) can't rely on men ! Only rely on me to make this dream come true !
Amany194 9 Posted April 21, 2013 Hi stardust I am in QLD I had my surgery last year with dr Greg Nolan he was fantastic. It wasn't easy to have the surgery my husband was completely against it and didn't offer me any support. He didn't even call or visited me in the 4 days I spent in the hospital. He didn't even picked me up. I have to arrange for a cap to back home which is 100 km away from the hospital. But I didn't care about all of that I knew that I had to do it for myself and my daughter. I can assure u that I didn't have any complications at all even my health was very down all my tests wasn't good and my ECG wasn't normal, but all gone through fantastic. I was able to drive straight away after I back home, I back to work a week after. Just think about urself first keep going. If u need anything about the diet etc just text me. That will b my pleasure to help Good Luck Amany
