KenyaAngel 2 Posted May 12, 2012 Hey! I wanted to write about my worries regarding weightloss. I recently had my surgery May 3rd and so far I have lost 10 pounds since before surgery. I don't know why but I feel worried that I won't see the weightloss like I want to. I weigh myself everyday (I know I really shouldn't) but I just really wonder if I will lose the weight. I am losing weight surely but for some reason I can't imagine myself slimmer and actually getting to my goal weight. Anyone know why I am so worried? I am sure I will lose weight as the months go by....
chitowngirl 886 Posted May 12, 2012 I totally understand we live in a society of instant gratification. What ever weight I loose it doesn't seem to be fast enough. But I refuse to become obsessed with my weight so I only weigh in once a week.
KenyaAngel 2 Posted May 12, 2012 That sounds like a good thing to try...I just got to be determined not to weigh myself obsessively lol
CAM1989 2 Posted May 12, 2012 I totally understand where your coming from! I've been on so many diets my whole life its hard for me to believe this would really work. I was sleeved April 25th so a little over two weeks ago. I started out at 240 lbs. At my two week mark I had lost 17 lbs already, but I have a fear that that's it :-( but I know I can do this and so can you!
