I'm two weeks out today and I ate tuna puréed with a little mayo, a Matrix Protein Shake, and a jar of Gerber meat sticks. I'm kinda embarrassed about the meat sticks but they tasted good and turn to mush when you chew them.

Sleeved April 10th. Eating mostly Protein. tuna, fish, chicken, shrimp and eggs. I have had bites of bad things but that is just it only bites. No soda. Water or unsweet tea. Tried veggies cooked but just trying to stick to protein. I enjoy meals with the family out but I have a couple bites and box the rest up and just enjoy time with the family. I have over eaten a few times until I vomited.

i was sleeved on April 10 (which is also my birthday). I have stallled at a 23# loss. i wonder if it is because I have been eating and not just dong pureed. I have not eaten things that my dr hasn't ok'd until tonight. and i overindulged which then led to some heavy duty vomiting. does anyone have any advice on how to get out of this stall and what do you do when you have that darned head hunger?

I was sleeved 4-24-12 an I'm down 42 pounds. Started at 370 and now I'm 328. Not bad!

But I know I'm not getting enough Protein in. My nut said I can have some soft foods now.

So what am I really eating? Lots of string cheese. Some grapes. Some cheddar cheese. Gummy Vitamins. Lots of Water. Cooked broccoli. Some egg whites.

Sleeved 4/23 n dr still has me on clears but I gotta confess I haven't stuck to clears. I e added Greek yogurt, a little cottage cheese n sugarfree pudding. These r the only way I can get any Protein n as I add Protein Powder to the yogurt n pudding. Can't stomach the shakes post op. Still not meeting my protein n Water goals but I'm working on it. I think I've reached the dreaded stall cause I haven't lost n e thing since 16 days post op. I'm down a total of 23 lbs with 15 lost post op.

4/19 but I can only eat soft foods and liquids. I tried eating Pasta and failed. But my favorite naughty food is chocolates. Not every day but i have a fun size hershey bar once in awhile. The sugarfree chocolates hurt my tummy. I have lost 12 lbs pre-op and 23 post op. :) totaling a nice 35 lb weight loss. I feel like a success for today even with my occasional chocolate.< /p>

Well I'm down a total of 53 pounds. My starting weight was 235. Surgery weight was 212 and now I'm 182. :) I feel great about my loss. I don't feel like I'm struggling with head hunger. I stay away from all carbs except those in Beans and yogurt. No flour products. I eat protein- shake, bar, cheese, beef Jerky, and lean meats. I was sleeved march 12th.

I forgot about confessions- I ate Peanut Butter cup and got so sick. I havent done that again I tried eating chicken and a hamburger patty too soon and got the slimes and felt horrible. Now I can tolerate pretty much anything as long as I eat slowly and don't overdo it.

I was sleeves April 2 and I am down 28lbs. I get in all my Protein and liquids. I eat chicken, fish, eggs, tuna and cheese. I go to the gym for an hour 5 days a week and I do not eat anything that is not on the doctors plan. I feel I'm losing weight way too slowly but it is coming off.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
