Yes, I do remember, we are sleeve sisters, same date! I know, I am feeling pretty darn good, over halfway there, it is getting exciting. The weight is coming of slower but...still coming off! Congrats again to you!

Looks like I may have jumped the gun a bit with my original post...today I weighed in at 201.2. I could just cry... :( I know logically these things happen, but it's just SO frustrating to have to look at that "2" again!

going from 201-202 for the past week - fustrating but 60lb for me is good ! it will happen (I hope). I made a goal of being under 200 before Memorial Day (beach season) hope it happens for us both.

Thanks, janerose. I hope we both get there, too...I've been really good at only weighing in once per week, but now I feel compelled to weigh in daily until I see what I want!

It happens to all of us. I have lost/gained 2-3 lbs in a weekend...grrrr! Dont worry, it will drop off again soon. I still cant help but weigh myself daily....my one bad habit! Keep up the good work.

Don't be discouraged. You can fluctuate 2-3lbs each day normally. This is why weighing every day can be depressing...though when that close to onederland, I would be compelled to do the daily weigh-in too.

I have been weighing myself every day for thirty years - I don't let it bother me; but seriously I just want to get to under 200 - lets see who gets there first - just for laughs

Great job!! That scale will stick under 200 very soon! I kept waiting and waiting to be in the 250's and now that I'm there, it's just crawling towards 252, which is my 100 pounds lost mark! It seems SO slow, but I know that's because I'm so anxious for it. I am counting it from the first minute it shows up, too! :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
