Tummy tuck *pics*

Recommended Posts

You look great. :clap2: I know I am at the beginning of losing the weight but I know I will be at that stage someday where I will need the Tummy Tuck. I dont like surgery :nervous and am not sure how I managed to get through being banded. I know I will have many questions down the road. But right now I am taking it one step at a time. Again you look fantastic. I hope I can look that good someday too.

I didn't get a chance to see the pics it looks like they have been removed/deleted. Is there anywhere else I can view the pics? I myself will need a Tummy Tuck in the future and so I'm curious to see your transformation

Thought I'd go ahead and add mine to this thread as well....

The post-op pics are less than 24 hours after surgery.

Hey Chickie - The drugs must still be throwing me off a bit. I thought I was posting my pics to the PS Before & After Thread last night not your personal thread. Sorry, for the mess up. I've loved reading your PS thread and everyother post of yours I've stumbled on. You have been and are an inspiration to me throughout my band journey.

Chickie:You look incredible! Did you lose additional weight in the ten months post-surgery? I bet nobody can believe you were ever heavy you look like a natural skinny mini!

It's ok! I wasn't worried at all. I just realised that a lot of my surgery pics were not viewable by anyone but me for some reason (It's odd, really)

I am glad I was able to be of some inspiration.

Thank you!

I lost about another 30lbs in the first few months after the tuck. I haven't lost anything lately. And I do get some very surprised looks when I tell people that I was overweight, I have had people gasp, and say "No way!!" at times too.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
