I was sleeved the day before you! Glad you are doing well. My dr says I can have canned chicken now, but regular chicken at 2 months. Red meat I have to wait until 6 months. A lot of dr's allow meat sooner though. Check with your nutritionist or dr.

I was looking in the information that I received from my surgeon. It just said lean protien. That included chicken breast and lean beef. Lean pork as well. All were 2 - 5 oz. Portion size. I hope this helped.

Thanks a lot for the replies, but still I am confused cause I don't understand whey some foods are prohibited, is it because of the high calories or to protect the gastric?!!

What about spicy foods after 4 weeks ?!! Is it allowed?

I was sleeved on April 10th and I can have all meats that are soft. Even red meat. I have tried everything and no problems. eggs and tuna don't sit right but I do have a problem with not eating slow. I have to defiantly work on that because I don't like that feeling. I have never puked yet but I don't go over 2 oz of meat at a time.
