Tattoodmom 6 Posted May 9, 2012 I am almost 2 months out and everyday I wake up so nauseous. It get better throughout the day but I really just want to know if anyone else has felt like this. I do sleep much better/ more then pre op(I think this is a good thing since I used to only sleep about 3-4 hrs now I'm at 7-8) could it just be hunger that does it? roxy.grissom 12 Posted May 9, 2012 Could u be pregnant? If not its could be nasal drainage overnight, empty stomach from sleeping longer.

Forensikchic 528 Posted May 11, 2012 I had this problem for the first 6 months. My surgeon gave me nausea meds for it. He said it happened to a few sleevers but not many. He explained that when we sleep, our spit pools at the top of our stomach and when we first get up, it wants to go down but sleevy wont let it so we get a little nauseated in the morning. I would have Water by my bed and take a zofran every morning when I woke up with just a sip of water. Within 15 minutes I was fine. I am 9 months out now and I dont have to do this anymore. It was a lifesaver during those times though. You could ask your surgeon for zofran to help with the morning nausea. Saint_Sammie 21 Posted May 11, 2012 I do seem to sleep better and longer than I used to. I also seem to wake up easier than before. I can say that this a happy side effect for sure.
