I just checked with my doctors office and found out I'm approved by the insurance so they'll call me in a few days and schedule everything.

I just wanted to keep everybody informed. :-)

I just got a deferral letter stating they cant make a decision yet because they did not get any medical history, pertinent diagnostics, treatment/outcome of treatment on me. So angry at this piont. I will be at my PCP office today...

Yeah, but it's a tough call. I have just lost 15 pounds on my own, and my wife would rather I just do it on my own.

But, I have been down this road before, and I know that no matter how much I lose (I have lost over 100# on my own before), I won't be able to keep it off.

So, yeah, I'm excited .

Aww.. I know your situation.. I have loss weight just about 100 pounds too.. and gained it back.. loss 10-20 pounds after that and gained it all back too.. I think the sleeve is a great idea for us

my kids and hubby feel the same as your wife.. but I'm sure they will stand by our sides with our final decision

update: I now have to get my gallbladder removed.. my paper work was resubmitted today.. I'm hoping my insurance approves me that way I can do both things at once.. hoping and praying.. trying to keep positive and not think of it as much as last time
