amber1974 1 Posted May 9, 2012 Im almost 3 months out and I still feel sick to my stomach and nauseated and weak after I eat or drink Protein Drinks. Usually lasts anywhere from 30-90 minutes. Doctor prescribed anti-nausea medicine. I dont take it all the time because one of the side affects is fatigue. Im really discouraged by this. I pray to the good Lord that this is just a "phase" I have to go through. Anyone else having this problem? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
NancyJerry 139 Posted May 9, 2012 Wow, at 3 months - that bites! Is it just the Protein shakes that make you nauseous? I'm assuming you've tried different drinks... and the doctors don't have any other suggestions? I'm surprised. I know what you mean about the fatigue after anti-nausea meds, though! PollyBlue 22 Posted May 9, 2012 I'm five out and am living on Optifast coffee shakes with an added scoop of Protein for Breakfast. Lemmie tell you....foul!! Like you I feel like barfing about 15 minutes after finishing. It is putrid and hangs around. Just the thought of drinking the stuff makes me feel ill. I saw here yesterday that someone was mixing unflavoured Protein Powder with any food they ate. I think I'm going to try that as shakes are wearing thin.
