LadyVelvet 9 Posted May 9, 2012 I take Dexilant prescribed by my doctor. It does get better with time. I started taking everyday after surgery but now I only take two per week. When I feel it coming on I sip Water and sometimes that helps. Also avoid foods that can cause it. (coffee - chocolate - peanuts) Your body will tell you what foods cause the most reflux. Hang in there.
alicat76 2 Posted May 9, 2012 Nexium once a day does the trick cant live without it!
clk 3,519 Posted May 9, 2012 Best thing I used was generic Prilosec. I used two or three different things before I found one that did the trick. You need a PPI, not an antacid! You'll be in pain if you don't get the acid under control. ~Cheri
