gmanbat 5,889 Posted May 8, 2012 I had to buy a sport coat, shirt, and new tie today. I already got a great deal on awesome pants at Goodwill and went to match them at Elder-Beermans. I wanted to put off expensive clothes buying until my goal was reached but circumstances dictated otherwise. I purposely bought the pants a bit small and decided to do the same at Elder-Beermans. I found a great coat, shirt and tie there. Not too tight but just tight enough to give me some more time with them before they outgrow me. I must say I am looking good. It has been a long time since I had trouble resisting vanity. Glad to have a reason to battle again. 2 MGM and Musharooni reacted to this
NancyJerry 139 Posted May 8, 2012 Good for you. I had to do a little bit of shopping this weekend, too. Didn't want to get crazy, but needed a few things. Hard to believe how good good-fitting clothes can make you feel! 1 gmanbat reacted to this
Indymom 132 Posted May 8, 2012 I desperately need to pick up some new things. I hate to spend the $$ though!! I guess I should just suck it up, I'll probably be at this size for a while since my weight loss has slowed down. 1 gmanbat reacted to this
gmanbat 5,889 Posted May 8, 2012 I always go to Goodwill to see what they have. I lucked out on some really good quality pants there. Sometimes things there still have the store tags on them. When I fail to find what I need I go the regular stores. I like high quality clothing but I like not paying much for it too.
LVbigmom 19 Posted May 8, 2012 I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores such as Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. I get them very cheap. If I really think about it they are actually expensive brand clothes that I just happened to purchase for a buck or two. No one need to know that I didn't spend $30-$40 for a pair of jeans. I change sizes about every couple of weeks so can't afford high price clothes.
