I'm on free fluids so I have 2 sustagens, 1/2cup custard and 1cup V8 juice a day plus Water. But I'm not getting it all in at this stage. Dr Daoud said just to keep checking and keep drinking water and see how that goes

mistysj 1,940 Posted June 8, 2013 I'm sorry you are not feeling great Bec and Linky. I hope it will sort itself out soon. I walked to the shops and did my rockery shopping for the soft food phase! Lots of canned tuna, salmon, and chicken. Deli ham and chicken breast. Smoked salmon. String cheese. Baby bels. Crackers. eggs (hope I can tolerate them). Cereal. I am so excited! I also picked up a few kinds of gravy and finishing sauces. I also planned my purée phase food really well because I am almost out of it. All I have left is a few portions of the tuna and a couple of the chicken and rice. 1 Bec101 reacted to this

My mum god bless her is madly cooking up 2 weeks of broth , just hope I can stomach it . But planning ahead with meals is defiantly the key . 3 *Dean*, lessismore67 and Bec101 reacted to this
Lissa_S 787 Posted June 10, 2013 You know it still amazes me how much my thinking still has to change about what my capacity is post sleeve. I never realised how much I felt I couldn't do- and that I had gotten to the point where I was so unhealthy I really couldn't accomplish basic things. For example, I went to work for four hours this morning, came home and reorganised my study, the linen press and my wardrobe. Then I went and swept the patios, cleaned the rest of the house and vacuumed and mopped. And I still have plenty of energy! Before I could never have even considered doing this let along without breaking a sweat - literally Love, love LOVE my sleeve...& a recent (sort of NSV) I now no longer weigh the most in my family my dad now wears that title (as he should) lol. Can't believe it was only 9 months ago that I had the surgery - so many changes, so many things happening!! It's bloody amazing! 7 lessismore67, Helmc2, *Shell* and 4 others reacted to this
kelliv 659 Posted June 10, 2013 Just have to boast as I know you will understand. I bought a size 10 Sportscraft skirt yesterday and it has a fitted waist band and it's NOT stretchy. Tried on the 12 first thinking that was wishful thinking, but the waist was too loose. I have also started wearing belts again after many years. Love clinching in my new waistline! 7 Bec101, Helmc2, *Shell* and 4 others reacted to this
