Cowgirl, my only TT was 10yrs ago & is holding up well with recent illness & weight gain. I was saying if a 2nd was needed I would hv to go thru w/it. My skin has changed & I fear the worst but I'm hopeful because I losing slow.

I would donate my skin wish they had a site to sign up to donate I was 448 lbs and now I have a chest that fell to my drawers lol now I have a chestertodrawers lol

So I talked with her today to clarify "free" and make sure I understood her correctly. She said the anesthesiologist's fee was free as was the hospital stay. She still paid her surgeon fee which was $2,000. She said she was originally quoted $8,000 for it. I don't know why she had it done at the hospital though, most are done at the Surgeon's own little office/OR room.

He does tummy tucks in his office? I think I'd rather pay for surgery than go to some hack. Just saying...

In general, surgeons aren't looking for post WLS skin to reuse as it is stretched out. A teaching hospital may offer some kind of deal for plastics if residents can assist or otherwise learn from it.
