MamaT 47 Posted May 6, 2012 And I felt OK about it! I was really worried because of the temptation of all the food on the table .. But i really didn't feel tempted!! I ordered lobster bisque (I'm 11 days post op) ate some and wrapped up the rest... I must admit it felt good to sit at a restaurant. My husband who is THE MoST SUPPORTIVE person EVER kept asking me if I was ok, and even reminded me a few times to take it easy (the Soup was sooo good and I expressed to him that I didn't want to overdo it) I know it's not much, but I'm glad I got this part of my journey behind me .. And now I know that every time I go to a restaurant I have to recognize my weaknesses, face them, and move on. 2 marimar and cmayfield85 reacted to this

MamaT 47 Posted May 6, 2012 I didn't know we could have a lobster bisque. I am very proud of you. Can I ask how much protien was in it? Probably very little - I'm sipping on an extra Protein shake right now to make up for it
NancyJerry 139 Posted May 6, 2012 It's NOT so bad, is it MamaT? I went to a steak house with my hubby, sis and bro-in-law. They had amazing looking ribs and steak and I had Soup. And while it all looked and smelled awesome, I was just happy to be able to eat out, order something off the menu, leave full/content and just enjoy the night! :-D 1 MamaT reacted to this
joycelyn 19 Posted May 6, 2012 I was 4 wks PO and I went to a Cajun restaurant and had seafood gumbo no rice no shrimp just juice. Very little crab meat. That was the best tasting thing ever.
