thinoneday 445 Posted May 7, 2012 Candyman, good for you man! People, especially family, don't realize the pain and suffering we go through with our obesity. to them it's like if we lose weight we may look better, or something. . . i don't know. . . only thing, and I hate to put a damper on the whole thing. Write something out and put it into an envelop to be opened in the case of something. . . put it up, if you live alone, put it onto your table addressed to whoever. . i do this everytime i have surgery, or even go on a vacation . . . cause you never know. Good luck and all will be ok. . .now watch who'll get beat up! lol
deltadawn817 106 Posted May 7, 2012 It is hard when you don't have people behind you. I told my husband after the fight for over a year and tons of research, I just told him that i have set a person goal for me to get to _____ weight by Feb 1st if I don't get there on my own I need help and I am scheduling my date for surgery. Well that is what I did. Now 45 lbs lighter it is the best thing I have done fore myself and i feel great for sticking up for myself too.
