QueBSure 5 Posted May 4, 2012 I had my first class for the 6 month weight management program yesterday. Have to get this out the way before surgery. I'm really excited about learning my food triggers and patterns in order to be successful after surgery. I'm still undecided on which procedure I will get. Pray for me..... 2 BKMama and Tameka reacted to this

BKMama 179 Posted May 5, 2012 At first, I was a little annoyed at the minimum 6 month process but I've learned a ton about myself and I really do think it sets you up for success. Keep chugging along....

legal loser 77 Posted May 5, 2012 Good luck! As far as which procedure, research, research, research! Only you know what is right for you. Your surgeon can help, but mine told me to be successful, I had to own it! 10 days out from VSG and no regrets.
Netgallegos 19 Posted May 5, 2012 I feel they do this so you have your self under controle by the time surgury is done. In my class the talked about a person having the surgery and when they were released from the hospital went straight to McDonalds and eat a big mac. Ouch. They spent a month in the hospital. So take this time and learn your new eating habbits.
