So today I decided to test how it would be on the all liquids post-op (I'm doing the 6 month post-op) and I came across the NAKED Protein Zone smoothie It has great flavor but it's a bit on the chalky side but it drikable. has any one else tried it??? It has 30gm of protein the downside is it has 34gm of carbs and 28gm of sugar.

so far today I've had a diet lemon snapple, a 20oz bottle bottle Water and the NAKED smothie.

I'm trying guys and I can't wait to be sleeved.

YeahI got the NAKED because I saw the 30gm of Protein after drinking it I saw the carbs/sugar. I placed an order for Unjury and I will try do they have sample packs of the body fortress??

I haven't found any source of Protein that I really like. I have chosen to go with the Body Fortress Protein Shots at Wal Mart. They'e less than 3 ozs of stuff I don't like instead of having to drink 11-13 ozs of something I equally dislike. The lesser of 2 evils, as it were.

Yea thats too much sugar. You'll double your weight loss post op if you eliminate the sugar..

I like Isopure Zero Carb and Low Carb shake mixes. I like vanilla and chocolate, and am trying Cookies and cream next. Unjury has a savory option with their chicken broth, but you have to be careful not to get the Water too hot, or the powder will clump.

ShapeShifter I tried the unjury Soup and it was awful to me. I will go to my local GNC to see if they have sample packets of the Isopure so I can try it :) by the way love you nickname :)

Thanks all you guys for your responses.

I'm on my pre-op diet now & ordered some different samples & a big container of Chike strawberry from my surgeon's office. I love the Chike. I just got some samples in the mail today of nectar ones, but the one I tried didn't mix well & tasted horrible, so I'll have to try some other way to mix the rest of the samples. I haven't tried my Unjury samples yet. From what I've read here, your taste buds change after surgery sometimes, so even if you like something now, you might not like it later. Be aware of that & don't stock up too much!

Thanx MomScholar I will not stock up I'm tasting what I like now and trying the waters and once I have my surgery date I will buy more samples of the ones I liked and try them after surgery. Best of luck in your journey

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
