jenn298 36 Posted May 3, 2012 I am a mom of there boys aged 14,18 and 21. The middle one is about 5'9" and built stocky but has changed his stature into muscle because he is a body builder. Yesterday when he came home from the gym he came up to hug me, let go real quick and said "woah let me try that again." So he hugged me again and said "mom, I can get my arms around you soo much better now, I bet I could throw you over my shoulder " needless to say I didn't let him do that but he made me feel so good!!! When you see yourself everyday in the mirror you don't notice the changes. Its so nice for others to notice and tell you. 5 HadToDoIt40, JDHenin, Benjammin and 2 others reacted to this

Charlotte 23 Posted May 3, 2012 Congrats. There is nothing better than a son giving praise to his mom, as they don't do that but once in a blue moon.
Bypassjourney 88 Posted May 3, 2012 What a great feeling! My nine year old son did something similar a few weeks ago. I was driving with my arm at the top of the steering wheel. He said "your arm is so tiny". Its an even better feeling knowing they don't have a clue how their one little comment makes us feel so wonderful! Keep up the great work! jenn298 36 Posted May 3, 2012 I agree, it brought tears to my eyes. Sometimes it seems like they are not paying attention to anything and then they shock you with something so unexpected. It really is amazing what all this journey has opened my eyes to.
