No way, I'm too scared, I saw some lady on Dr. Oz though and she looked great. They took the fat from her waist, hips and transferred to her butt. She wanted a butt like J-Lo so she purchased one.

I want this, and an arm lift, and a total body contour, and a neck tightening and eventual facelift, and a thigh lift, and some restylane or botox in my face. Written out like this it seems like a lot, but my whole body needs to be taken in!

Some butt lifts involve implants, also. Personally, if I were to get a BBL, I wouldn't get implants, I'd be too worried about scar capsules and discomfort when sitting. Fat transfer seems like a reasonable idea, I'd just wonder if you might end up with awful cellulite after. Smooth fat looks fine, but nothing's worse than lumpy fat!

I don't want any implants either!! They take fat from your body and put it in your butt! I don't want anything too big, but I am flat now...anything would be an improvement! I joined a gym today...baby steps...and I am going to see how much I can change my body through increasing my muscle mass. In the meantime I have made an appointment with two doctor's for a thigh lift consultation, teeth whitening and some microdermabrasion :). It is me time!

Let me know how your consult goes....mine is not til January! I'm thinking thigh lift vs. inner thigh lipo; I don't really have that much skin, so a lift seems excessive given the scarring, BUT I have stretch marks, which can worsen Lipo outcomes, so I'm kind of in limbo.

It is actually really cool, they kind of "shape" a new butt with the fat. They can squish it into any shape. I too, am interested in your consultation!!

Doesn't transferred fat eventually get reabsorbed?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
