irishmama2004 34 Posted May 2, 2012 I am one of the first people to rag on her hubby when he is being a jerk but i just wanted to say that my DH has decided to do the two week pre op with me. He will be drinking shakes and having sugarvfree approved Snacks. He wants to see how much he can lose and wants to see how hard it really is. He already admits he knows he is weaker. So sweet! I think it will be great for us to walk together a little bit on this journey. 5 Sleeve-A-Licious, Neese, ChristineS NY and 2 others reacted to this

beautifulnewme2012 164 Posted May 2, 2012 Love it!! My DH has been dieting with me as well. The suggestions the NUT gave me. And he has lost a few lbs already. Though he isn't brave enuff to sweat out the liquid diet with me!! LOL

LadyIvy 159 Posted May 2, 2012 Mine tried the liquid diet too. I asked him to stop after 4 days because he just wasn't doing it right and I didn't want him to hurt himself. I was at least being monitored by a doc. This surgery has brought the two of us so much closer. He took the best care of me when I needed him. I am glad there are other women who get to enjoy husbands that are that sweet. You don't see many of those anymore
jobster71 10 Posted May 2, 2012 My husband has been very supported as well. He has gone to all of the doctors appointments. He has also been going for walks with me every evening. He has really surprised me! 1 LadyIvy reacted to this

irishmama2004 34 Posted May 2, 2012 Yay for good husbands! Yes, I am worried he will hurt himself too. I go to the class tomorrow and he says he will start on Saturday. He has always been pretty slim but over the last few years about 30 pounds has crept on him so it would be great if he could lose that. When I used to join weight watchers every few months or so (LOL) he would join and drop like 10 pounds in a week when I would lose 3. So I'm sure that may be frustrating for me. But I also want him healthy.
deltadawn817 106 Posted May 2, 2012 That is so sweet of him. I know that is something my husband would never do. I do feel bad for my husband now as he is my extra food disposal. If I grab a pc of cheese and can't eat it all he gets the rest. That is how it is with almost everything I eat.
