M_Johnson 43 Posted April 29, 2012 Okay I am going to the doc for my 2 wk post op visit and I feel like there should be things I should ask him but can not think of anything...... What did you ask your surgeon?
twoboysandagirl 109 Posted April 29, 2012 At two weeks...I just wanted to have the assurance I was doing everything right and my incisions were healing right. I can't think of anything I asked. As long as you know the next visit, the lifting exercising requirments, next steps of the meal plan...I think you are set.
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted April 29, 2012 I had no questions for my doc. I had no complications and I had realized that the doc's all had different opinion's on diet and transitioning to different stages in our diet. So I basically wanted to know if I was doing what I was suppose to. oh I didn't follow the rule on waiting 10 minutes between each bite. I still don't. NancyJerry 139 Posted April 29, 2012 I didn't have any questions. I was on track and just grateful for the assurance that I was on track!

oneproudpappa 19 Posted April 29, 2012 Remember that everyone is different and will have diffferent outcomes. My doctor asked me things like was I getting enough Protein and Water in. He looked at my insisions. I had more questions for my nutritionist than I did my surgeon. My main question was now that I have a smaller stomach how will that affect me doing manual physical labor in the humid heat of Louisiana summers. He said that was an excellent question. His response was that I have to stay ahead of the game more than others. The potential to dehydrate is far greater for me now than before. He insisted that I drink water 24/7 as much as possible to avoid severe dehydration.
